Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and self-motivated Social Media Intern to support our social media team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, understands internet culture, stays updated with trends, and can contribute to building a strong and consistent brand voice across platforms.
You will work closely with the social media and creative team to assist in scripting, copywriting, content ideation, captions, campaign communication, and overall content execution. We're looking for someone who can think creatively, write clearly, adapt quickly, and contribute to fast-moving social media workflows.
This role offers strong learning opportunities across content strategy, storytelling, branding, and social media execution in a fast-growing startup environment.
What You'll Do
Copywriting & Scriptwriting
- Write engaging short-form reel scripts, hooks, captions, CTAs, and text overlays
- Assist in scripting content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media campaigns
- Support carousel storytelling, educational content structuring, and content packaging
- Contribute to campaign messaging, launch communication, and promotional storytelling
- Help maintain a strong and consistent brand voice across platforms
Social Media & Content Support
- Support day-to-day social media operations and content coordination
- Assist with content planning, trend research, and ideation
- Stay updated with trending formats, platform behavior, and internet culture
- Work closely with the design, editing, and social media teams to streamline execution
- Help improve content quality, readability, and engagement across platforms
Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns, launches, and content initiatives
- Contribute ideas for social media content, storytelling angles, and audience engagement
- Assist in maintaining organized workflows and faster content turnaround
- Adapt quickly to feedback and changing content priorities
Requirements
Required
- Strong interest in social media, content creation, and copywriting
- Demonstrated good copywriting and storytelling skills
- Understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Self-motivated mindset with willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with internet culture, creators, and trending content formats
- Proficiency in using AI tools such as ChatGPT and other content-assist tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams
Preferred
- Prior internship or freelance experience in content writing, copywriting, or social media
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and carousel content formats
- Basic understanding of branding, storytelling, and audience engagement
- Experience using tools like Notion, Canva, Google Docs, or social scheduling tools
- Interest in wellness, fitness, lifestyle, or creator-led content
