Position Summary

As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining Josh's social media platforms. You will also be responsible for creating captivating content for all social media pages. Monitoring user engagement and analyzing feedback continuously is the key part of the role. Furthermore, you should have a strategic mindset and always think out of the box.

The Job Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for operations of Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat, including editing, content cut, scheduling, posting, and community management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Content Cut: Watch long-form content and identify powerful, engaging moments to create short, platform-native cutdowns for social media.
• Editing: Able to edit high-quality, engaging content pieces optimized for each platform in line with the brand tone and visual style.
• Copywriting: Write engaging copy for post including thumbnails, and captions/titles that align with the brand voice.
• Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
• Analytics: Track performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
• Data-Driven Approach: Implement data-driven strategies to propel both established and new content to reach a wider audience and drive growth in views and subscribers.
• Stay Updated: Monitor trends and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain a strong online community by monitoring engagement, responding to users, and fostering conversations around the brand.

Competencies and Skills Required

The major skills and competencies required for this role include:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
• Good command over Hindi and English language (written & oral)
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat, including algorithm changes and best practices for organic growth.
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives and translate them into engaging digital content (e.g., scripts, videos, thumbnails, marketing materials)
• Experience in curating and analyzing diverse content formats (long-form & short-form) for maximum impact.
• Proficiency in video editing, using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics & YouTube studio, etc.).
• Creative thinking and the ability to stay on top of social media trends.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of Josh Talks target audience. Demonstrates strong empathy for the aspirations, challenges, and preferred content formats of Josh Talks viewers, ensuring all content aligns seamlessly and resonates with viewers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with social media ad campaigns.
