ABOUT THE ROLE

At Josh Talks, storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a Social Media

Intern who understands social media and has a strong passion for storytelling and content creation.

This role is ideal for someone who can identify powerful moments from long-form content, transform them into engaging short-form videos, and help grow Josh Talks across social media platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Watch long-form content and identify powerful moments for short-form cutdowns.
• Edit engaging Reels, Shorts, and social media videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Design thumbnails and social media creatives using Adobe Photoshop.
• Write engaging captions, titles, hooks, and thumbnail copy.
• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns.
• Monitor content performance and provide actionable insights.
• Implement data-driven strategies to improve reach, engagement, views, and subscribers.
• Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and content formats.
• Build and maintain an engaged online community across platforms.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Mandatory).
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube.
• Strong storytelling and content sense.
• Ability to identify engaging moments from long-form content and convert them into high-performing short-form content.
• Understanding of audience retention, hooks, and social media storytelling.
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Instagram Analytics, Facebook Insights, and YouTube Studio.
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Strong learning mindset with eagerness to experiment and grow.
• Deep understanding of Josh Talks audience and content style.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube.
• Familiarity with social media trends, content formats, and audience engagement.
