Job Details

Job Title: Social Media Intern

Duration: 1 to 3 months

Responsibilities

- Plan and manage a monthly content calendar for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media platforms

- Create and schedule posts, stories, reels and carousels that match the brand tone and audience interests

- Design simple graphics, banners and social media creatives using Canva

- Write engaging captions, hashtags and short copy for social media posts

- Reply to comments and messages and grow the online community in a polite and professional way

- Track post reach, engagement and follower growth and prepare simple weekly and monthly reports

- Research competitors, trending topics, hashtags and content ideas to improve performance

- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn

- Basic knowledge of content planning and content calendars

- Familiarity with Canva or any graphic design tool

- Good caption writing and creative thinking skills

- Basic understanding of social media metrics such as reach, impressions and engagement

- Good written and spoken English communication

Good to Have

- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite

- Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot

- Basic understanding of SEO, hashtags and social media trends

- Any social media marketing course, certification or internship experience

Eligibility

- Students and recent graduates in BBA, MBA (Marketing), B.Com, BA, BJMC, BCA, B.Tech or any related field

- Freshers interested in building a career in social media marketing

- Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection
