We are Orchids Lux Home (OLH), a Dallas-based luxury bedding and furniture house with a strong international footprint, and we're looking for a Social Media Executive to plan and execute our organic presence across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, maintain a thoughtful Reddit presence, and collaborate closely with our Marketing Head, Designer, Content Writer, and Video Editor to deliver premium, on-brand content every day.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a monthly content calendar (what to post and when).
- Staying on Top of the Latest Social Media Trends. Keeping up with industry changes and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Manage Instagram and Facebook organic end-to-end: post scheduling, stories, captions, hashtags, community management (comments/DMs), and basic insights.
- Manage Pinterest organic end-to-end: pin planning to posting.
- Manage Reddit presence.
- Coordinate LinkedIn posting.
- Do basic reel editing and coordinate with Video Editor for heavy edits.
- Coordinate daily with Designer for creatives and Content Writer for captions/scripts.
- Track weekly performance (reach, engagement, saves, clicks, growth) and submit a social media report with learnings and new recommendations.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of social media experience (luxury/home/lifestyle is a plus).
- Strong understanding of Instagram + Pinterest best practices.
- Comfortable using scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Comfortable with basic video edits.
- Strong English writing skills with an eye for premium tone and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables with clear time management.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with Reddit community engagement.
- Prior experience managing TikTok.
- Basic knowledge of SEO-style writing (helpful for Pinterest).
