Social Media Management
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
- Plan and execute daily content across YouTube, Instagram (posts, stories, reels), LinkedIn, and other relevant social media platforms.
Content Creation
- Ideate and script short-form & long-form video content (in sync with brand tone).
- Collaborate with design and video teams to deliver engaging assets.
Community And Brand Engagement
- Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, and create a two-way conversation with our audience.
- Identify opportunities to engage with other creators, brands, or trends to boost reach.
Performance And Insights
- Monitor analytics (reach, shares, engagement, follower growth, etc. ) and suggest iterative improvements.
- Experiment with new content formats based on platform trends and audience insights.
Brand Building
- Drive personal branding for Bhanu (our founder) through content that shows his genius and relatability.
- Create a visual + verbal identity for Bhanzu's social pages that is consistent and impactful.
Requirements
- A natural curiosity for math and logic, you don't need to be a mathematician, but you should love smart, nerdy stuff.
- 1-3 years of experience managing brand social media (especially Instagram and YouTube).
- Strong skills in content writing, scripting, storytelling, and trend spotting.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools, basic editing, and platform analytics.
- A proactive doer - someone who experiments, analyses, and moves fast.
- Have managed personal brands and/or founders social media before.
- Have a background in education, science communication, or storytelling.
- Are comfortable appearing in front of the camera (optional but great).
