Social Media Executive

About the Role

We're looking for a creative social media executive who lives and breathes internet culture. Someone who spots trends before they peak, writes scroll-stopping hooks, and is comfortable both behind the screen and in front of the camera. If you can turn ideas into engaging posts, reels, and stories that people actually want to watch and share, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.)
• Write creative, concise, and impactful copy tailored to each platform
• Identify and execute on trending formats, audios, memes, and pop culture moments (trend jacking with relevance)
• Develop strong hooks and short-form scripts that drive retention in the first few seconds
• Use storytelling techniques to simplify ideas and make content relatable and memorable
• Appear on camera for reels, videos, and other content when required
• Collaborate with designers, video editors, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life
• Track performance and iterate content based on insights and audience behavior

Key Skills & Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing
• Strong creative copywriting skills with a clear understanding of tone and platform nuances
• Proven ability to spot trends early and adapt them creatively for the brand
• Excellent storytelling and hook-writing skills for short-form video content
• Confident camera presence and comfort in creating on-camera content
• Good understanding of social media algorithms and content best practices
• Ability to think fast, execute faster, and work in a dynamic environment

Nice to Have

• Experience working with education, tech, or creator-led brands
• Basic understanding of analytics and content performance metrics
• A portfolio or social media handles showcasing your work
