Roles & Responsibilities of a Social Media Executive
- Content Planning & Creation
- Plan, create, and execute engaging content including posts, reels, stories, carousels, and captions aligned with the brand's voice and marketing goals.
- Content Calendar Management
- Create, maintain, and execute a monthly content calendar covering daily posts, campaigns, festivals, offers, and brand activities; ensure timely approvals and publishing.
- Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Community Engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and reviews promptly to build a strong and positive online community.
- Coordination with Creative & Marketing Teams
- Work closely with designers, videographers, influencers, and marketing teams to plan, produce, and execute content and campaigns effectively.
- Trend Monitoring & Execution
- Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, audio, hashtags, and platform updates, and creatively adapt them for the brand.
- Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance; prepare regular reports and suggest data-driven improvements.
- Campaign & Promotion Support
- Support digital marketing campaigns, store launches, festive promotions, influencer collaborations, and brand activations.
- Brand Reputation Management
- Ensure all communication reflects the brand's tone and values; handle feedback or negative comments professionally and escalate when required.
- Basic Paid Promotion Coordination
- Assist with boosting posts, coordinating paid ads, and supporting performance marketing activities.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of content, calendars, approvals, creatives, and performance reports for smooth workflow and future reference.
