Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can handle publishing, coordination, and execution across multiple high-priority accounts. This role needs strong platform knowledge, agency experience, and the ability to manage fast-moving content across government, political, public sector, and large digital campaigns. The person should be able to maintain accuracy, speed, and quality across all social media publishing work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage social media publishing across major platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and others
  • Handle daily posting, campaign bursts, event-based publishing, and urgent communication needs
  • Coordinate with content, design, video, strategy, and account teams for timely and accurate publishing
  • Manage publishing for government, political, election, public policy, and large-scale outreach campaigns
  • Ensure accuracy in captions, names, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, logos, and approved creatives
  • Handle time-sensitive publishing during speeches, public events, press conferences, campaign launches, and important announcements
  • Support YouTube publishing for long-form videos, Shorts, thumbnails, metadata, playlists, and content organization
  • Maintain posting calendars, publishing checklists, approval tracking, and file management systems
  • Monitor content output to avoid posting errors, missed timelines, wrong formats, or workflow gaps
  • Ensure brand consistency and platform correctness across all published content
  • Support faster execution by improving internal coordination and publishing discipline
  • Guide junior team members and help maintain smooth day-to-day publishing operations
  • Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and publishing workflows
  • Good experience with YouTube publishing, Instagram Reels, Shorts, video metadata, and multi-platform distribution
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
  • Good coordination and team handling skills
  • Clear understanding of government, political, and public communication sensitivity
  • Ability to manage urgent content, fast approvals, and deadline-driven publishing
  • Familiarity with content tracking, reporting, and workflow planning
  • Basic understanding of video, motion, and creative delivery formats for publishing readiness

Experience

  • 37 years of experience in social media, digital publishing, or social media operations
  • Strong agency background is mandatory
  • Experience in handling government, political, election, or public communication projects is mandatory
  • Experience managing YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and video-first social accounts
  • Prior experience in team coordination or process handling will be an advantage
