About us

Kumqwat designs fully bespoke travel experiences: 400–500 custom trips a year across 60+ destinations, each one built around the person rather than the place. We also run The Travel Circle, a travel storytelling community, along with a travel podcast and an upcoming Travel Summit.

The role

You'll own the creative and strategy for two Instagram pages: the Kumqwat brand page and the founder's personal page. Your job isn't to post on schedule. It's to build two accounts that don't look like anything else in travel, and that people actually want to watch.

What you'll do

Own content strategy and creative direction for both pages
Invent original formats and series, and write the hooks and scripts
Lead Brands on Trips, an AI-led creative series imagining how famous brands would travel
Shape the founder's content: sales calls, itinerary breakdowns, podcast moments, behind-the-scenes
Direct the cameraman, editor, and designer, and run the content calendar
Track what works (saves, shares, DMs, enquiries) and double down

What you bring

4–8 years in content, social, or advertising creative
A portfolio of original ideas, not just follower growth
Strong writing: hooks, scripts, concepts
Taste shaped by films, ads, comedy, and design, not just Instagram
Comfort with AI creative tools
The ability to explain why something worked
