Social Media Copywriter

Role & Responsibilities to be handled:

• Writing, editing and publishing engaging tech content for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Write a crisp and engaging script for videos to be published on the company's social media pages.
• Optimising social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience behaviour.
• Brainstorm with the teams on creative avenues and reporting on social media insights
• Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner.
• Research topics and write scripts for Facebook videos.
• Contact tech companies and content creators to seek permission for content usage (images & video).
• Proofread the written content & videos once they're complete.

Required Skills:

• Excellent writing skills, editing and proofreading abilities for social media platforms.
• Ability to write concise, attention-grabbing content that puts the thoughts across.
• Ability to deliver within short time frames and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and analytical tools.
• Good knowledge of new tech developments.
• Ability to work with a team and individually.

Qualification:

• Candidates with Mass Communication and Journalism background.
• Certification in Digital Marketing is preferable.
