Why this role existsMush manages social media for brands where consistency, relevance, and platform understanding matter as much as creativity.
This role owns end-to-end social media content execution,from ideation and calendars to writing, coordination, and client closure, primarily for Instagram and LinkedIn.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how content actually performs on platforms, not just how it reads.
What you will do- Research trends, topics, and formats on Instagram and LinkedIn
- Create monthly content calendars aligned with brand goals
- Write platform-native content:
- Instagram captions (reels, carousels, statics)
- LinkedIn posts (founder-led, brand-led, thought leadership)
- Plan feeds and content mix (educational, trust, culture, performance)
- Coordinate closely with designers to translate ideas into visuals
- Share clear briefs with the design team (format, tone, reference)
- Manage content reviews, revisions, and client feedback
- Communicate with clients for content alignment and approvals
- Ensure content is delivered on time and matches brand voice
What you will not do- Write long-form brand strategy
- Work without visual or brand context
- Treat Instagram and LinkedIn the same
- Post content without planning or rationale
- Depend entirely on designers for ideas

- You understand what works on Instagram vs LinkedIn
- You keep up with trends, formats, hooks, and posting styles
- You can balance creativity with deadlines
- You communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
- You're comfortable working in a fast-paced agency setup
Must-have skills- Strong writing skills for social media
- Clear understanding of Instagram & LinkedIn algorithms (at a practical level)
- Content calendar planning
- Basic understanding of feed aesthetics
- Client communication and coordination
- Ability to work closely with designers
Nice to have- Experience working in a creative or social media agency
- Understanding of reels, carousels, hooks, and CTAs
- Experience with B2B brands on LinkedIn
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Sheets, Meta Planner, etc.
