The Brief
Unified Sports is assembling a young content team to cover the entire FIFA World Cup 2026 — every matchday, across 45 days. We're hiring two Social Media & Content Interns who eat, sleep, and breathe football and want to break into sports marketing by working the biggest tournament on earth.
This is a launchpad, not a classroom. You'll do real work, on real properties, at real pace. If you've ever watched a 2 AM thriller and instantly thought this needs to be a reel, this internship is built for you. We covered the 2022 World Cup, with over 90+ videos generated, 10k+ social growth in followers & a lot of fun!
Here's What You'll Learn:
- How to read the FIFA tournament, analyse & infer useful information & furthermore, how to present it to the audience - goes a long way in developing a career in football
- New systems, tools and processes - new skills
- Behind the camera - how to handle shoots and production - learn production and CMS
- Strong cultural ethics, working in a sports environment - learn professional values
Here's What You'll Do
- Help plan and execute content across the tournament — pre-match build-up, live matchday reactions, and post-match analysis
- Research storylines, team form, player narratives, and tactical talking points ahead of every fixture
- Shoot original content from our Hauz Khas office and on location in-city
- Draft, publish, and schedule across Instagram, X, YouTube Shorts and other platforms
- Run real-time community engagement during and after matches — replies, polls, trends, comments
- Track daily performance and help grow reach, followers, and engagement
Who We're Looking For
- A genuine, committed football fan — fluent in the top European leagues, international football, and the global game
- A fresher or student looking for a foot in the door — no prior professional experience required
- Available to work flexible, late-night hours aligned to global match schedules
- Able to deliver quality content under tight deadlines
- Strong game-reading ability — you can analyse a match, not just watch it
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, ideation, copy, and marketing
- Able to work from our Hauz Khas office for shoots and remotely for publishing
Bonus Points
- Any portfolio of football or sports content (personal accounts count)
- Basic editing skills to self-serve quick turnarounds
- Updated with social media trends and patterns
