Role Overview - We are looking for a Social Media & Content Executive who enjoys storytelling and creating engaging content for social media. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who understands social media basics and enjoys experimenting with Reels and short-form videos. You will support the marketing and communications team in creating content, managing social media platforms, and bringing the stories of our students, fellows, and programs to life online.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation
- Write simple, engaging captions and posts for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Assist in creating and maintaining monthly content calendars
- Draft short stories, student highlights, and event updates
- Reels & Short-Form Video.
- Conceptualize and create fun, engaging Instagram Reels aligned with Bright Future's mission
- Capture moments from programs, events, and student stories
- Edit short videos using simple tools (Instagram editor, CapCut, etc.)
Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms
- Track basic performance metrics (likes, reach, engagement)
- Support day-to-day management of Bright Future's social media handles
- Storytelling & Documentation
- Work with program teams to capture stories from students, fellows, and partners
- Help turn program activities into meaningful digital content
Who Should Apply
We are looking
01 year of experience in social media, content writing, or communications who is enthusiastic about digital content creation. The ideal candidate should
enjoy creating Instagram Reels or short-form video content and have a
basic understanding of platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and current social media trends. They should also possess
good written communication skills in English and Hindi. Most importantly, the person should have a
keen interest in storytelling and a passion for contributing to the social impact sector.
Skills Need To Have -
- Familiarity with Canva, VN, CapCut, or basic video editing tools
- Comfortable shooting quick videos on phone
- Creative ideas for making youth-focused and engaging content
