Role Description

This is a full-time, remote Social Media & Communications Intern role based for communities in North/West India. The intern will assist in creating and managing engaging social media content, support digital campaigns, and enhance audience engagement through effective communication strategies. Day-to-day tasks include developing and scheduling posts, monitoring social media platforms, responding to comments, and contributing to content planning that aligns with URI's mission and goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Media content creation & curation
• Community Engagement Skills is a must
• Self-driven, and empathetic to lead dialogues and digital curation
• Strong Communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to on-site responsibilities
• Familiarity with interfaith peacebuilding, and community development topics
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools and content management systems is desirable
• Prior experience with community leadership, and social media is preferred
