About Ashraya Hastha Trust:

Ashraya Hastha Trust is a non-profit trust established in May 2000 by Major S. Nanjundiah (retired) with his family members, Dinesh K, one of the founders of Infosys and his wife, Asha Dinesh. In 2014, Divya Dinesh and Deeksha Dinesh, grandchildren of Major Nanjundia, also joined the board of trustees and helped in expanding the foundation's scope of work to fully realise the vision of promoting the dignity, coexistence and well-being of all lives, human and non-human. The organisation currently engages in grant-making across 6 focus sectors - Health, Environment, Animal Welfare, Livelihoods, Education and Disaster Relief. AHT's goal is to scale into a 1000 crore grant-making organisation in the coming 10 years, with an expanded focus on capability building and incubation of non-profit organizations. Given the fast pace of growth, AHT is looking to expand its team in the coming few months and is looking for individuals aligned with their core values and mission to join them on their journey to create an impact.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging social media platforms to raise awareness of our grant-making philosophy, engage with our target audience, manage our website effectively, and drive meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute social media strategies and monthly content calendars.
  2. Create high-quality content for social media platforms, including graphics, carousels, reels, videos, and captions.
  3. Write compelling articles, blogs, newsletters, website content, impact stories, and case studies.
  4. Develop human-centric case stories that showcase the impact of the Trust's initiatives and partner organizations.
  5. Manage and grow Ashraya Hastha Trust's presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
  6. Coordinate with partner organizations to gather stories, photographs, videos, testimonials, and project updates.
  7. Conduct interviews with beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders to develop engaging communication materials.
  8. Edit videos and design creatives aligned with the Trust's brand guidelines.
  9. Ensure all communication materials maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity.
  10. Cover events, field visits, workshops, and campaigns through photography, videography, and live social media updates.
  11. Monitor social media performance and prepare monthly analytics and performance reports.
  12. Stay updated with digital communication trends and recommend innovative content ideas and campaigns.
  13. Support internal and external communication requirements across the Trust.

Qualifications:

1.  Master's degree in digital marketing, social media marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

2.  Proven experience (3 years) working in social media marketing and website management, preferably in the non-profit sector.

3.  Strong understanding of social media platforms, website management systems, trends, and best practices.

4.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling ability.

5.  Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.

6.  Proficiency in social media management tools, website content management systems (CMS), and analytics platforms.

7.  Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

8.  Experience using AI-powered tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms) to enhance content creation, research, design, video production, and productivity.
