Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Overview
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing social media and digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. They will create and curate content, manage social media accounts, analyze performance metrics, and implement advertising campaigns across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategies that align with the company's overall marketing goals
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage social media accounts, monitor conversations, and respond to comments and messages
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (impressions, reach, engagement, etc.) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Implement and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and leads
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing channels
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in social media and digital marketing
- Research and analyze competitor marketing strategies and industry best practices
- Monitor and report on social media and digital marketing performance to stakeholders and management
- Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in social media and digital marketing
- Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Creative problem solver with a passion for digital marketing and social media
