Social Media & Communication Intern

About the Role:

We're looking for a Social Media & Communication Intern who is deeply tuned into digital culture and trends, and can translate insights into meaningful content and communication for Oceedee. This role sits at the intersection of content, analytics, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Trend Tracking & Research

Stay on top of emerging social media trends, formats, audio, and cultural moments across platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and others.

Proactively suggest ideas aligned with the brand voice.

2) Content Publishing & Management

Upload and manage content across all Oceedee social media platforms.

Ensure timely, error-free posting with proper captions, tags, and formats.

3) Social Media Analytics & Reporting

Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, etc.) across platforms.

Maintain organized data sheets and create weekly/monthly performance reports.

Derive actionable insights to improve content strategy.

4) Content Writing & Communication

Assist in writing captions, short-form content, blogs, and website copy.

Ensure all communication aligns with Oceedee's tone—refined, minimal, and contemporary.

5) Coordination & Execution

Work closely with design and marketing teams to ensure smooth content execution.

Support campaign rollouts and content calendars.
