ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Social & Distribution Executive to manage the distribution and amplification of NYC's content across social and digital platforms.Your role is to ensure great content reaches the right audience, on the right platform, in the right format.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage publishing and distribution across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.

• Optimise titles, captions, thumbnails, formats and posting timings for better reach and engagement.

• Identify winning content and scale its distribution.

• Repurpose content into Reels, Shorts, clips, carousels and platform-native formats.

• Build relationships with creators, pages and communities for collaborations and amplification.

• Monitor reach, engagement, views, watch time and audience growth.

• Run experiments around formats, packaging, timing and distribution channels.

• Work closely with Content, Creative and Growth teams to improve content performance.

• Track and report what's working, what's not and why.

• Recommend where NYC should increase, reduce or experiment with distribution efforts.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• 2–4 years of experience in Social Media, Content Distribution, Audience Growth or Digital Media.

• Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.

• Good understanding of social algorithms, audience behaviour and content packaging.

• Ability to identify winning content and scale what works.

• Comfortable working with analytics and performance data.

• Experience with content repurposing and cross-platform distribution.

• Strong execution, communication and coordination skills.

• Experience in EdTech, digital media or creator-led businesses is preferred.
