Role Overview

We are seeking a SoC Validation Architect to lead endtoend validation strategy across multiple products and technology domains. This is a horizontal, highimpact technical leadership role spanning presilicon definition through execution, working closely with architecture, design, firmware, and validation teams.

The role requires early influence on product definition, strong architectural judgment, and deep validation expertise to ensure highquality, scalable SoC validation for complex and nextgeneration designs.

Key Responsibilities :

PreSilicon Phase

• Partner with chief engineers, system architects, and product teams to understand customer requirements, use cases, and performance expectations
• Assess project complexity, technical risks, and capability gaps early in the product lifecycle
• Provide a validation perspective during specification and usecase definition to shape scope, feasibility, and testability
• Influence product architecture by defining debug, observability, and validation hooks as the design matures
• Develop the highlevel SoC validation strategy in collaboration with domain experts, identifying coverage gaps, risk areas, and mitigation plans
• Lead or actively contribute to test plan definition and reviews, with deeper involvement for:
• New IP blocks
• Firstofkind architectures
• New validation methodologies
• Work with validation leads to ensure technical readiness, tooling, and skill development required for execution
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams (firmware, board, platform, IP validation, emulation, and postsilicon teams) to enable effective SoClevel integration and validation

Execution Phase

• Provide handson technical guidance to validation teams during execution, particularly for complex or ambiguous technical issues
• Drive rootcause analysis and resolution of highseverity, crossdomain validation challenges
• Ensure strong alignment between validation intent, execution progress, and overall product milestones

Technology & Innovation Leadership

• Lead pathfinding and exploratory efforts to:
• Develop new validation methodologies
• Support emerging technologies and protocols
• Define future debug and observability requirements
• Drive adoption of automation, scalable frameworks, and validation best practices across projects
• Act as a technical thought leader and mentor, influencing validation quality and technical direction across the organization

Required Qualifications

• Experience in SoC or IP validation, silicon bringup, or system validation, with increasing technical leadership responsibility
• Strong understanding of SoC architectures, including CPU subsystems, interconnects, memory, and peripheral IPs
• Proven experience influencing validation strategy during early architecture and specification phases
• Handson expertise in debug, coverage analysis, complex issue triage, and rootcause isolation
• Experience working across multiple projects and technology domains simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with architects, designers, firmware engineers, and leadership teams
