Job Description

Roles and responsibility

  1. Responsibility for Micro architecture , Spec / MRD understanding
  2. Drive Micro architecture document including
  3. Top level Architecture and Block Diagram
  4. Clock/ Reset/ Power Management
  5. SoC Fabrics, Protocol Bridges
  6. Fuse, Boot, Security
  7. IP planning and interfaces
  8. Pinout, ball mapping
  9. Systems and Test planning
  10. Design feasibility and PPA analysis
  11. Develop details for micro architecture for the target SoC to meet chip specifications.
  12. Write MAS / PRD document, drive alignment for IPs with reviews to signoff.
  13. Develop and work with the team to deliver RTL, UPF, timing constraints.
  14. Work with SoC lead to integrate the design and setup the FPGA flows
  15. Review DV, DFT and PD implementation plans for sign-off.

Skills:

  1. Verilog, VHDL, High Speed SerDes protocols understanding, Bus protocols, Clock & power management etc.
  2. Proven track record of having Micro architected, Designed a complex SoC to production
  3. RTL design process: Specifying microarchitecture, developing RTL, linting, UPF coding, delivering synthesizable RTL, guiding Verification, DFT and PD implementations of the design.
  4. Awareness in comprehensive validation techniques of the specific design domain.
  5. Ability to review and signoff implementation of the design.
  6. Hands-on experience working with version control systems.
  7. Work with the FW development team for the design – as required.
  8. Scripting experience for efficiency and quality.

Education & Experience:

  1. CS/ EE/ EC Engineering Graduate or postgraduate with 15+ years of relevant experience.
