Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SoC / Software / Architecture / IP Manager to lead the definition, development, and integration of system-on-chip (SoC) architectures, software platforms, and IP strategies for next-generation semiconductor products. In this role, you will manage a cross-functional team responsible for SoC architecture, software enablement, and IP selection to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions that meet diverse market requirements. This position requires deep expertise in SoC design, IP integration, software stack development, and strong leadership skills to drive technical execution and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Leadership: Define SoC architecture, including processor selection, IP requirements, and system-level specifications.
- IP Strategy & Management: Oversee IP evaluation, selection, and integration, working with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure optimal performance and cost.
- Software Enablement: Manage development of software stacks, BSPs, and drivers to support SoC functionality and customer applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, verification, physical implementation, and applications engineering teams to ensure seamless integration andexecution.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct PPA (Power, Performance, Area) analysis and trade-off studies to optimize architecture and IP configurations.
- Vendor Engagement: Collaborate with external IP providers, EDA tool vendors, and technology partners to secure best-in-class solutions.
- Customer Interaction: Support technical discussions with customers, highlighting architectural choices, software capabilities, and product differentiators.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead engineers across architecture, IP, and software domains to build a high-performing organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years in semiconductor design and architecture, with at least 5 years in SoC architecture, IP management, and software leadership roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SoC design flows, IP integration, processor architectures (RISC-V, ARM), and embedded software development.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex design and integration challenges.
- Collaboration: Experience working with IP vendors, software teams, and global engineering organizations.
