SOC Analyst

Our technology services client is seeking multiple SOC Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. These positions offer a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period. Below are further details about the role:

Role: SOC Analyst

Mandatory Skills: Monitoring, ITSM, Firewall, DNS, CrowdStrike

Experience: 4- 6 Years

Location: PAN India

Notice Period: Immediate- 15 Days

Job Description:

• Monitoring of alerts
• Analysis and investigation of the alerts to identify true positives that need to be acted upon
• Get ITSM ticket created for true positives
• Based on the analysis, take necessary remediation steps, depending upon the level of access given to the tools (e.g. Proofpoint, server, firewall, active directory, DNS, proxy, CrowdStrike etc)
• If required access is not available, triage the ticket to the respective resolution team, co-ordinate with them for ticket closure
• Escalate to next level support (Tier 2/ Tier 3) on need basis
• Update the user about the action taken on specific tools
• Document the steps taken for reporting and tracking purposes
