About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled SOC Analyst (L2) to join our Security Operations Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating and investigating security alerts, correlating events across multiple technologies, supporting incident response activities, and improving detection quality using SIEM platforms such as ManageEngine Log360 or similar technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and investigate security alerts to determine their legitimacy.
- Correlate events across various technologies to identify potential security threats.
- Support incident response activities, including alert validation, escalation review, and incident documentation.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve security incidents effectively.
- Continuously improve detection quality and response processes within the SOC.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance security posture.
Qualifications- Experience: 3+ years in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or related security role.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with ManageEngine Log360 or similar SIEM tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Proven experience handling security incidents in enterprise environments.
Certifications (Preferred But Not Required)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
