Job Description

As an SOA B2B / EDI Developer, you will design, develop, test, implement, and maintain EDI transactions and enterprise integrations using SOA Suite and B2B platforms. You will work closely with healthcare trading partners to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable data exchange.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ANSI X12, HL7, and hands-on expertise in Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB) and Oracle B2B for partner onboarding and EDI integrations.

Principle Responsibilities (essential Job Duties And Responsibilities)

  • Design and develop integrations using Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB) and Oracle B2B
  • Configure and manage Oracle B2B trading partner agreements, document definitions, channels, and delivery configurations
  • Work with trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connectivity (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS, FTPS)
  • Develop, test, and deploy EDI transactions including but not limited to 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, and 999
  • Perform data mapping, transformations, and validations using EDI mapping tools and XSLT
  • Develop canonical data models and implement service orchestration flows within SOA composites
  • Monitor daily EDI transaction processing via EM Console / B2B Reports and troubleshoot errors, rejections, and transmission issues
  • Support onboarding new trading partners including requirement gathering, Agreement configuration, End-to-end testing (UAT) and Production deployment
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance in all data exchanges and implement secure transport protocols
  • Participate in API development (REST/SOAP services) and integration with internal systems (Claims, Billing, ERP)
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and configuration records
  • Support PROD deployments, patching, and incident management
  • Provide audit support and ensure data integrity across integrated systems
  • Collaborate in Agile/DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines for SOA deployments

Required Qualifications

  • 6-9 years experience in SOA B2B/EDI development which includes Open ESB, Oracle SOA 11g, Oracle SOA 12c, OSB 11g,
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, ANSI X12 formats (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 999)
  • Experience in BPEL, Mediator,OSB (Oracle Service Bus),Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM Console)
  • Hands-on experience with trading partner setup, agreement configuration, and document protocol configuration in B2B
  • Good to have Oracle OIC and ICS experience
  • Experience with SFTP, AS2, digital certificates, and encryption standards
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Shell, Python, or similar)
  • Experience in XSLT transformations and XML processing
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines for SOA ( Github, SVN)
  • Experience migrating SOA code across environments (DEV, QA, PROD)
  • Exposure to cloud-based integrations ( AWS)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
