Role Description The SO – HIRING HDFC Bank Credit Cards role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves promoting and sourcing HDFC Bank credit cards, engaging with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, and recommending suitable card products and features. Daily responsibilities include explaining credit card benefits and terms, assisting customers with applications and documentation, and ensuring adherence to credit and compliance guidelines. The position also includes coordinating with internal teams for application processing, resolving customer queries, and maintaining accurate records of leads, conversions, and follow-ups. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, delivering high-quality customer service, and representing HDFC Bank's brand and values in every interaction.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Finance and Credit skills, with the ability to understand credit card products, eligibility criteria, and risk considerations.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain product features clearly, handle objections, and interact effectively with diverse customers.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, focusing on building trust, addressing queries promptly, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Insurance, including cross-selling related protection plans where applicable and explaining benefits responsibly.
  • Relevant experience in banking, financial services, or credit card sales is preferred.
  • Ability to work towards sales targets, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools used for lead management and reporting.
  • Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution; higher qualifications in finance or marketing are an advantage.
