SO_Cloud Infra Operations Specialist

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and reliability usingPrometheus,Grafana, and related observability tools.

• Implement security hardening, compliance controls, andpatch managementacross cloud and on-premises environments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration usingIaC toolssuch asTerraformandAnsible.

• Managepassword rotation and credential updatesfor OpenStack services (Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, Horizon), ensuring policy compliance and minimal service disruption.

• Plan and executesecurity patches, hotfixes, and upgradesacross OpenStack controller and compute nodes, including validation and rollback readiness.

• Performvulnerability assessment and remediationthrough security scanning, risk prioritization, and corrective actions.

• Configure and supportAzure Single Sign-On (SSO)usingMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including application onboarding, role mapping, and access management.

• TroubleshootSSO-related issuessuch as authentication failures, federation problems, certificate renewals, and identity synchronization.

• Implement and manageConditional Access Policies,Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity governance controls.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, performRoot Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure timely incident resolution.

• SupportDisaster Recovery (DR)and business continuity initiatives.

• Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, automation workflows, and SOPs.

• Collaborate with global teams to standardize, automate, and optimize infrastructure operations

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

• B.E (IT or Computer Science) or Equivalent.

Experience:

3-5 Relevant Experience

Mandatory/requires Skills:
Strong knowledge ofOpenStack components:Nova, Neutron, Swift, Keystone, Horizon, Glance, and Cinder.

• Hands-on experience inpassword rotation, credential management, patching, and vulnerability remediationacross OpenStack and Linux environments.

• Experience withAzure SSO administrationusingMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD)and authentication protocols such asSAML, OAuth, and OIDC.

• Knowledge ofConditional Access,MFA, and identity/access management best practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms such asAzure,Amazon Web Services (AWS), orGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proven expertise inInfrastructure as Code (IaC)usingTerraformandAnsible.

• Scripting skills inBash, Python, or PowerShellfor automation and orchestration.

• StrongLinux administrationskills (RHEL preferred), including package management, troubleshooting, and log analysis. -Good to have.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such asGrafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Loki.

• Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, load balancing) -Good to have.

• Familiarity withDockerandKubernetes-Good to have.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

. Certifications in Linux, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), or DevOps tools.

. Exposure to CI/CD practices and Git-based automation pipelines.
