Strong Power BI skills to oversee the creation and management of BI and analytics solutions,
Drives the success of technology usage for solution delivery, best practices and standards definition, compliance, smooth transition to operations, improvements and enablement of the business.
Support Solution delivery lead & visualization lead on existing, new and upcoming features, technology decisioning and roadmap.
Collaborate with the solution architect and platform architect on the visualization architecture pattern to be applied based on functional requirements and non-functional requirements and considering the available technical patterns.
Define & Drive DevOps Roadmap to enable Agile ways of working, Enable CI/CD pipeline, Automation for self-serve governance of Power BI platform, in collaboration with the Platform lead.
Take accountability to ensure adherence with security and compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to Information Security & Compliance (ISC), Legal, ethics and other compliance policies and procedures in defining architecture standards, patterns, and platform solutions
Role Requirements
8-10 years of IT experience in the area of Data and Analytics , Visualization area with strong exposure to Power BI Solution delivery and Platform Automation in a highly qualified technical function and global matrix organization.
In depth understanding of database management systems, ETL, OLAP, data lake technologies.
Experience in Power BI. Knowledge of other visualization technologies is a plus.
Pharma domain specialization is a plus and understanding of data usage across the end-to-end enterprise value chain.
Demonstrated good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and time management aligned with Novartis Values & Behaviors; deep technical expertise and understanding of the business processes and systems.
Experience in managing vendor and customer expectations and driving techno-functional discussion; understanding of the demand to sustain and project financial processes.
