Snr Java Aws developer

Pradeepit Consulting Services is actively seeking a Snr Java AWS Developer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. This pivotal role is for a skilled Software Engineer with extensive programming experience in Java 17+, Spring/Spring Boot, and strong expertise in AWS services, particularly in Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll be crucial in the development and operations of our existing system landscape, ensuring its maintainability, reliability, and scalability within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development & Operations: Responsible for the development and operations of the existing system landscape, ensuring its maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
• Java & AWS Development: Program in Java 17+ with Spring / Spring Boot. Develop and utilize AWS services, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Quality & Best Practices: Adhere to clean code principles, participate actively in pair programming and code reviews. Maintain a high-quality code aspiration and conduct load/performance testing.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum and SAFe team events. Work with an Agile Mindset as a strong Team Player, demonstrating a willingness to take on responsibility.
• Tooling & Systems: Work with applications such as Kafka, Elastic Search, Splunk, Docker, Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, and JIRA/Confluence.
• DevSecOps: Apply experience in DevSecOps practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Programming Experience: Several years of programming experience in Java 17+ with Spring / Spring Boot.
• AWS Expertise: Experience in developing and using AWS services, especially in the area of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Database & Frontend: Proficiency in SQL, and experience with Angular 15+ and Node.js.
• Quality & Practices: Strong adherence to clean code principles, experience with pair programming and code reviews.
• Testing & DevSecOps: High-quality code aspiration, experience in load/performance testing, and DevSecOps.
• Tooling: Proficiency with Kafka, Elastic Search, Splunk, Docker, Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, and JIRA/Confluence.
• Agile: Experience in Agile product development according to Scrum/SAFe, coupled with an Agile Mindset and a team player attitude with willingness to take on responsibility.

Good to Have Skills

• First experience in migrating a system landscape to the Cloud.
• AWS certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Typically seeking candidates with 6-9 years of working experience as a Software Engineer.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Work Ethic: Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Autonomy: Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
