Snowflakes, SQL Professional

We are seeking a Snowflake & SQL Professional with at least 6-7 years of strong experience in Snowflake and SQL. The ideal candidate will be adept at the design, development, testing, and deployment practices for enterprise applications using Agile methodologies. You'll work as an individual contributor, taking ownership of your tasks and delivering on time, meeting or exceeding client expectations. Experience with SQL Server or other similar databases, and a willingness to pick up MSSQL tasks, is a plus. Very good communication skills are essential to understand requirements and translate them into effective working components. Prior experience in an Agile model and working with Jira will be an added advantage. The candidate must be flexible to work with PST hours to align with SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Solution Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications with a strong focus on data solutions using Snowflake and SQL.
• Individual Contribution & Ownership: Work as an individual contributor, taking full ownership of tasks and ensuring timely delivery according to user story point timelines, consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Database Expertise: Utilize strong experience in Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics. Apply robust SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and optimizing data.
• Agile Practices: Work effectively within an Agile model, ideally with prior experience and familiarity with Jira for task management.
• Requirement Translation: Employ very good communication skills to understand complex requirements and translate them into well-functioning, high-quality data components.
• Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, particularly SMEs during PST hours, to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
• Database Versatility (Good to Have): Be open to working with SQL Server or similar databases as needed.
