Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Technical Lead to design, implement, and lead modern data platform solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehousing, cloud data architecture, and ETL/ELT processes, along with the ability to lead teams and deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
• Architect scalable data pipelines and data models for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and query efficiency
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to data engineering teams
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes using modern data integration tools
• Manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configurations
• Integrate Snowflake with BI tools, data lakes, and external systems
• Maintain documentation for architecture, workflows, and processes
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on data engineering and Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture (Virtual Warehouses, Micro-partitions, Cloning, Time Travel)
• Strong SQL expertise and experience in performance tuning
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar)
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of data ingestion (batch and real-time) and streaming concepts
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.)
• Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced)
• Experience with BI/Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
