Description
We are seeking a Snowflake Platform Engineer with 9-12 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake and its capabilities, along with a strong background in data engineering. You will play a critical role in designing and optimizing our data architecture to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data architects and other engineers to optimize data models and ETL processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues within the Snowflake environment.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment processes for Snowflake resources.
- Create and manage user roles and permissions to ensure data security and compliance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- 9-12 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and features.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Snowflake.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation and automation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize query performance.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
