Job Title : Snowflake Platform Engineer
Job Type : Full-Time / Contract
Experience : 8-15 years
Location : Hyderabad, Telangana
Responsibilities
- 8 15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in data platform engineering and cloud technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Snowflake in enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Strong experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Bicep, or similar tools.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with cloud networking, security, identity management, and access controls.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with data integration tools, orchestration platforms, and data lake architectures.
- Experience supporting multi-region and multi-cloud deployments.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data security frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, storage, compute optimization, security, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of source control and release management practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake platform infrastructure and architecture.
- Develop and manage Snowflake environments across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Manage Snowflake security, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, encryption, and governance frameworks.
- Configure and maintain Snowflake integrations with cloud storage, data ingestion, orchestration, and monitoring tools.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
