Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations in Snowflake using SQL, stored procedures, and tasks.
- Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, manage virtual warehouses, and implement cost-efficient data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
- Collaborate with data analysts and BI teams to deliver clean, curated datasets for dashboards, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
- Implement data quality checks, governance policies, and automated monitoring for data freshness and integrity in Snowflake.
- Integrate Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, dbt) and orchestrate workflows via Airflow or Snowflake Tasks.
- Document data models, lineage, and transformation logic; participate in peer reviews and CI/CD deployment of data assets.
