Role (primary title): Snowflake Data Engineer — On-site in India; collaborate with analytics, BI, and cloud ops teams to productionize scalable data solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake-based data warehouses and ELT pipelines with strong focus on performance, cost control and reliability.
- Implement data ingestion patterns using Snowpipe, bulk loading, external tables and orchestrate with Streams & Tasks for near-real-time pipelines.
- Build and optimize Snowflake objects (schemas, tables, views, materialized views, stored procedures) and manage semi-structured data (JSON, VARIANT).
- Author reusable dbt models, SQL transformations and unit-testable modular code; enforce version control and CI/CD best practices for data deployments.
- Perform query tuning, clustering key design, micro-partitioning and cost optimization to meet SLAs for analytics and reporting workloads.
- Collaborate with data consumers, analysts, and platform engineers to define data contracts, observability, monitoring and runbook procedures.

Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Proven hands-on experience implementing Snowflake solutions and ELT patterns for analytics platforms; strong SQL-centric delivery background.
- On-site in India (required). Strong problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
