Primary Title: Snowflake Data Engineer
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Snowflake data platforms: schemas, virtual warehouses, roles, and secure data sharing.
- Implement ELT pipelines and data transformations using dbt, Snowflake stored procedures, Streams & Tasks, and Snowpipe for real-time ingestion.
- Optimize SQL queries, clustering keys, micro-partitioning and warehouse sizing to reduce cost and improve query performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust data models and curated datasets.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database code, automated testing, and deployment of dbt models and Snowflake objects.
- Implement monitoring, observability and data quality checks; troubleshoot incidents and drive root-cause remediation.
