Snowflake Developer

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Implement best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Optimize performance of Snowflake queries and data pipelines.

Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake and related technologies.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.

Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.

Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, particularly AWS or Azure.

Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.

Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools.

Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7-10 years of overall experience in software development, with a focus on data solutions with atleast 4 to 5 years relevant experience in snowflake.

Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
