About the Role -
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Admin to manage and optimize Snowflake cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, security, and administration. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot issues, automate processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize Snowflake environments for performance and security.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Implement best practices for database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Work with data engineering teams to support ETL processes and integrations.
- Automate administrative tasks using SQL and scripting.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Snowflake administration.
- Expertise in Snowflake architecture, data sharing, and workload optimization.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python/Shell scripting for automation.
- Experience with data security, access management, and governance policies.
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Snowflake integrations.
