Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with up to 5 years of experience to design develop and optimize scalable data solutions using the Snowflake cloud data platform
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehousing SQL and cloud based data engineering and will work closely with business and analytics teams to deliver high performance data solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain data models views and schemas in Snowflake
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and user defined functions UDFs
Implement and manage ETL ELT pipelines for data ingestion from multiple sources
Optimize Snowflake performance using clustering caching partitioning and query tuning
Implement data security access control and governance using Snowflake best practices
Work with cloud services AWS Azure GCP for data integration and orchestration
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform data quality checks monitoring and troubleshooting
Support CI CD implementation for data pipelines and deployments

Technical Requirements:

Primary skills Technology Data on Cloud DataStore Snowflake
Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehousing
Proficiency in SQL advanced joins analytical functions
Hands on with ETL ELT tools
Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
Knowledge of data modeling star snowflake schema
Familiarity with Python or scripting is a plus
Understanding of data pipelines and workflow orchestration

Additional Responsibilities:

Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts star schema snowflake schema dimensional modeling
Experience working with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP
Knowledge of data integration techniques and semi structured data JSON Parquet
Experience with version control tools such as Git
Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
