We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with 7-12years of industry experience, including proficiency in cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Snowflake development and SQL development, coupled with a solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts. Experience in cloud-based development and integration with Snowflake, along with exposure to offshore/onshore models and Agile methodology, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Snowflake Development: Perform strong hands-on experience in Snowflake development for building and optimizing data solutions.
- SQL Development: Develop and optimize complex SQLs for data extraction, transformation, and loading within the Snowflake environment.
- Data Warehousing & Modeling: Apply strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts to design efficient and scalable data structures.
- Cloud-Based Development: Engage in cloud-based development and integration activities specifically within the Snowflake ecosystem.
- Requirements Gathering: Gather requirements, understand the business needs, and have regular discussions with technical teams on design and development activities.
- Cloud Migration: Utilize good experience in cloud migration projects to facilitate data movement and transformation to Snowflake.
- Agile Collaboration: Work effectively within an Agile methodology framework.
- Offshore/Onshore Model: Collaborate seamlessly within an offshore/onshore model.
Required Skills and Experience
- 7-12 years of industry experience, including strong exposure to cloud technologies.
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree.
- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake development.
- Proficient in SQL development, with strong SQL skills being an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts.
