We are looking for an experienced Snowflake & DBT Data Engineer with lead-level experience to join our team in Hyderabad.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT (Data Build Tool), along with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing modern cloud-based data warehousing and transformation solutions. This role requires experience in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, working with cloud data platforms, and leading data engineering initiatives / mentoring team members.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Lead experience in data engineering projects / team handling

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow
• Exposure to AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Git

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT
• Build and optimize data transformation workflows for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and pipeline reliability
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation
• Support deployment and monitoring of data solutions in cloud environments
• Lead data engineering efforts, guide junior team members, and drive delivery of data solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
• Proven experience in leading teams / handling end-to-end project delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Snowflake, AWS, or Azure are a plus
• Experience working in Agile environments
