Role Overview
Join a data science initiative to build a robust Customer Health Scoring platform. As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will design scalable data architecture that unifies fragmented data sources into a governed, analytics-ready foundation supporting AI-driven insights for Sales and Customer Success teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data aggregation and storage architecture.
- Act as the primary Snowflake subject matter expert.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
- Develop dimensional data models and analytics-ready schemas.
- Establish data governance, quality, and security frameworks.
- Define metadata standards, naming conventions, and documentation.
- Build deployment pipelines across dev, staging, and production.
- Implement automated data validation and quality controls.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and BI teams.
- Onboard enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce) into Snowflake.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake (modeling, performance, security).
- Solid knowledge of data warehouse and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with large-scale ETL/ELT development.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with data governance and metadata frameworks.
- Understanding of SaaS data models.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Snowflake certification.
- Experience with dbt or similar tools.
- Exposure to customer success or sales analytics data.
- Knowledge of API-based or data virtualization integrations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Certinia.
- Experience working with global teams.
