ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable web applications across the full stack from user-facing interfaces to back-end systems as well as managing server deployment, hosting, and environment configurations. You should be passionate about clean code, deployment best practices, and building software that performs reliably in production.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack web applications.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Manage hosting, server configurations, and deployment processes for staging and production environments.
- Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including auto-scaling, load balancing, and backups.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor build and release processes.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security in deployment environments.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug application and infrastructure issues in production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies.
SKILLS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
- Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Express, Python (Django/Flask), Ruby on Rails, Java, or .NET.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Proven experience with deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Linux server management, web servers (Nginx, Apache), and DNS configuration.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker; Kubernetes is a plus.
- Version control experience using Git.
- Solid understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices.
