Overview
Rambus , a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer , is seeking to hire an exceptional Senior Technical Writer to jo i n our Technical Publications team in Bangalore . In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world develop ing products that make data faster and safer.
As a Senior Technical Writer , you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality documentation for state-of-th e-art Silicon IP solutions . In this full-time role, you'll report directly to our Senior Manager of Technical Writing . Our Technical Publications team is dedicated to delivering accurate and accessible documentation to our industry -leading customers , and your contributions will be instrumental in supporting the growth and adoption of our cutting-edge product range .
Rambus offers a flexible work environment , embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles . E mployees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite , allowing for two days of remote work .
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and structure technical documentation in English for our Silicon IP solutions .
- Collaborate closely with engineering and support teams to document new products and update existing produc ts .
- Ensure document ation is clear, accura te , user-friendly , and conforms to Rambus standards .
- Facilitate reviews and incorporate feedback from a range of stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the Technical Publications team as we continue to adopt new strategies and tools to optimize documentation.
- Support and assist other writers as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technical Communications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years technical writing experience in hardware or software industry.
- Familiarity with digital electronics and semiconductor design flows preferred.
- Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, XML, AI, content management systems, and graphics packages.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English, with ideally first-language proficiency in English.
- The ability to express complex information in a clear and precise manner.
- Self-directed with meticulous attention to detail, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work on different parallel activities and in multiple teams under tight deadlines and across time zones.
