Job Description
We are looking for an SMT Production Line Manager with experience in SMT machines, production line installation and bring-up activities, machine maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and production quality improvement.
Key Skills & Machine Expertise
- Hands-on experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines and equipment.
- Experience handling:
- SPI – Solder Paste Inspection
- Fuji Mounter
- GKG Printer
- Reflow
- AOI – Automated Optical Inspection
- Experience in SMT machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Knowledge of SMT line installation, alignment, and bring-up activities.
- Experience in Fuji Mounter programming and cycle time reduction.
- Experience in breakdown analysis, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Knowledge of machine tossing control and spare part management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain SMT machines, including SPI, Fuji Mounter, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform routine machine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate line installation, alignment, and bring-up activities.
- Ensure all stations produce products meeting company quality standards.
- Evaluate and modify manufacturing material workflow to improve throughput and productivity, where required.
- Work with line engineers, managers, and supervisors to develop and maintain work schedules supporting 100% on-time delivery to main lines.
- Work with line managers, supervisors, and direct employees to improve quality levels with a goal of zero-defect products.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel.
- Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition and available when required.
- Manage machine breakdown analysis, troubleshooting, repair, tossing control, and spare parts.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with SMT machines and Fuji equipment.
- Strong skills in machine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to install and bring up SMT lines with minimal downtime.
- Experience in cycle time reduction and quality improvement.
