Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an SMT Process Engineer. Work includes programming of all machines in the SMT line, including Pick and Place Machine, Stencil printer, SPI, AOI etc., ensuring high productivity and quality. The SMT Process Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing surface mount technology processes, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring process optimization, and conducting quality inspections to meet manufacturing standards. The role includes collaboration across teams, supporting production, and staying updated with advancements in SMT technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SMT process design, process optimization, and equipment troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, production workflows, and quality inspections within the electronics sector
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software tools and systems is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical) or a related field
  • Prior experience in electronics manufacturing, especially in SMT processes, is mandatory
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to ethical practices
