This is not a back-office role. You will sit with the founders, shape how AI understands superannuation and see your knowledge turn into a product that will redefine SMSF administration for 650,000+ funds worth over $1 trillion in assets.

What You Will Do
Work directly with the founding team and engineering. Ensure our AI agents understand SMSF at the depth a senior accountant does.
- Map end-to-end SMSF workflows: data feeds, investment reconciliation, financial statements, tax returns, audit-ready work papers
- Define the rules and edge cases agents: contribution caps, pension calculations, TBAR, CGT treatment, exempt current pension income
- Stress-test outputs against real SMSF scenarios, find where it breaks
- Validate work paper formats, ATO lodgement requirements and audit readiness
- Bring deep practical knowledge of BGL, Class Super, SuperMate and the broader SMSF software ecosystem
- Be the bridge between Australian superannuation law and AI architecture
Who You Are
- 5+ years hands-on SMSF accounting and administration, you have personally prepared financial statements, tax returns and work papers for Australian funds
- Deep working knowledge of BGL Simple Fund 360, Class Super or SuperMate (ideally more than one)
- Strong grasp of Australian superannuation law : contributions, pensions, investment rules, TBAR, member reporting, trustee obligations
- Familiar with SMSF audit processes and what auditors actually look for
- Experience with Australian CA firms or SMSF specialist firms, onshore or through an Indian outsourcing firm
- You should be genuinely curious about how technology can reshape your domain. Need not be an AI expert.
