About the Role:
Mediafon Carrier Services is expanding and is looking for an SMS Account Manager to join our international team from anywhere in the world.
Job Summary:
As an SMS Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing our wholesale A2P SMS business by managing international clients, acquiring new partners, and achieving sales targets. The role also involves analytical work, collaboration with internal teams on service development, market monitoring, and representing the company at international industry events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned international SMS carriers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Account Growth and Business Development: Drive active sales, identify new business opportunities, and acquire new clients to grow A2P SMS traffic volumes and revenue.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Data Analysis & Routing: Perform analytical work with the system - reviewing traffic, quality, and pricing data - to test and configure routing solutions and continuously improve performance.
- Market Analysis: Monitor dynamic market trends, competitor activity, and pricing developments in the wholesale SMS market to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our SMS service offerings, pricing structures, and technical capabilities to effectively communicate with customers.
- Customer Support: Identify client needs and provide fast, effective problem solving for delivery, quality, or commercial issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Representation at Conferences: Represent the company at international industry conferences and events, engaging with professionals, potential clients, and partners to promote our SMS offerings and build meaningful relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in A2P SMS account management for a minimum of 1-2 years.
- Knowledge of A2P SMS wholesale telecommunications services.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage).
- Result orientation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, persistence, and a willingness to continuously develop your competencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve set objectives, with initiative and a creative mindset.
