Position Overview (Job Summary)

We are looking for an experienced Windows & VMware L3 Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Hyper-V, Microsoft Cluster Server, VMware Infrastructure, Active Directory, Patch Management, and Backup Solutions. The candidate should possess hands-on experience managing medium to large-scale server environments (50-60+ servers), troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and supporting virtualization, clustering, and storage environments. Azure Cloud certification is mandatory.

Role and Responsibilities

A. Windows Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows 2000/2003/2008 servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and server-related issues.
• Perform Windows server performance tuning and optimization.
• Manage and monitor server health across enterprise environments.

B. Virtualization Management

• Administer VMware ESX environments.
• Manage VMware Guests, Templates, VMotion, DRS, and Capacity Planner.
• Perform P2V migrations and virtualization troubleshooting.
• Administer Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure.

C. Cluster & Storage Administration

• Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Cluster Server environments.
• Resolve cluster-related issues in SAN environments.
• Support storage connectivity and availability.

D. Patch & Backup Management

• Execute end-to-end patch management lifecycle:
• Testing
• Deployment
• Compliance Reporting
• Manage enterprise backup solutions:
• BackupExec
• NetBackup
• Arcserve
• Legato
• TSM

E. Infrastructure Services

• Support Active Directory administration.
• Manage File & Print Services.
• Provide support for Exchange Server environments.
• Work with monitoring and management tools.

F. Linux Administration

• Install and configure Red Hat Linux servers.
• Manage Linux servers through command-line administration.

G. Network Support

• Basic to intermediate understanding of:
• Switching
• VLANs
• NIC Teaming
• Coordinate with networking teams for infrastructure troubleshooting.
