SME Head - MEP - B.Tech Electrical / Mechanical - Ahmedabad

Experience: 15+ Years

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement MEP engineering standards, design guidelines, and best practices for mission-critical data centre facilities.
• Lead the review and approval of MEP deliverables, including concept designs, detailed engineering, IFC drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and submissions.
• Ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with civil, structural, architectural, electrical, ICT, and commissioning requirements.
• Lead technical design reviews, constructability assessments, value engineering, and engineering optimisation initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and specialist suppliers to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and codes, including ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IEC, and client-specific data centre requirements.
• Drive system reliability, redundancy, energy efficiency, and operational readiness to meet mission-critical facility requirements.

Key Candidate Requirements:

• 15+ years of overall MEP engineering experience.
• Strong experience in MEP design, engineering review, project execution, and commissioning.
• Proven leadership experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Preference for candidates with direct Data Centre / Mission-Critical Infrastructure project experience.
